Hello,
I am looking for family members of my husband's grand mother Jennie Buchanan or Buchannan-Edgar who was born in Green County, Tennessee, October 3, 1895. She died about 1927 in Leona Mines Virgina, but was burried in Kingsport Tenn. Her youngest son, Clyde Edgar, just a baby when she died was rasied by Jennie's mother ( name unknown ) in Kingsport Tenn. Clyde was born April 4, 1926. Jennie's husband was Andrew (Judge) Edgar from Virgina.
My husband's father was Linnie Oral Edgar who was 3 - 4 years old when she died and was taken back to Virgina and raised by his father and later a step-mother( first name Maxie), as were two of Jennie's older sons, Eugene and Clarence.
We were told Jennie had a brother named William or Bill Buchanan/Buchannan and his wife went by Addie or Attie.
I have all kinds of information, but can't seem to get any where with it. If any one can help it would be greatly appreicated.
