I am searching for an Irene (Buchanan) Hopkins who m. Floyd Hopkins. Irene's mother is Minnie (James) Buchanan but I don't know the first name of Irene's father.
Irene was born in either Oklahoma or California in around 1912.
Minnie (James) Buchanan was b. Oct 1882 in Oklahoma Indian Territory. She is of the Chickasaw Nation, however, some records list her in Atoka County, Choctaw Nation, Oklahoma. Even though she is listed in the Choctaw Nation records, she is, also, listed there as a Chickasaw.
I believe that Minnie's parents are Walton James b. May 1855 and Susan (Unk.) b. abt. 1868, both in Oklahoma Indian Territory. Probably prob. in Atoka County.
Does anyone know if Irene has another given name. Has anyone found Irene & Floyd in their records or publilc records?
Floyd Hopkins was b. 19 Mar 1912 in Oklahoma and d. 25 Dec 1954 in Alameda, CA along with his son, Ronald Don Hopkins b. 08 Sep 1936 in CA.
