I would like to correspond with anyone who has information about the James Donald Buchanan family of Lincoln Co, Tenn.
James was the son of John M. Buchanan, and Elizabeth Crawford. John M. Buchanan was the son of Samuel Steele Buchanan and Mary"Polly"Gibson. My gr gr. grandmother Mary Elizabeth Goodner married James Donald Buchanan after the death of her first husband, John A. Gibson. She had one son by John Gibson, My gr grandfather; Albert Donnell Gibson. Her children by James Buchanan were:
1. Ed Clyde b. 1873 md Ninna Mimms Cochran and lived near Holly Springs Miss (owned a plantation)
2. Milton Goodner b. 1875 (lived in Fayettville, Tenn)
3. Pearl Ella who was killed in a auto accident in 1956
4. Ollie Cruse b. 1879 d. 1895
5. Vennia Cruse b. 1881 d. 1899
6. Jimmie D (a daughter) b.1884 d. 1913
7. John T.
8. Willie B. b. 1888 (lived in Athens Co, Alabama)
9. Ora Lee b. 1891 d. 1937
These children were all half brothers and sisters of my gr grandfather. Any one out there know these folks.
