Searching the ancestors and descendants of John Philip Bubb b. 1789; d. 10Dec1854 Northumberland Co., PA; he married Magdalena Kerstetter. They had one known child, Michael Bubb; he married second to Hanna Kerstetter and they had a child Salome Bubb b. 1820; d. 1901 in Dalmatia, Northumberland County, PA. Solome married Josiah Wert 1818-1900, and they had 8 children: Samuel Ferdinand Wert, John Thomas Wert, Sophia Salome Wert, George Milton Wert, Jeremiah Wert, Elizabeth Wert, Anna Jane Wert, and Franklin McClelland Wert.
