I am trying to find out more about my gggf robert bryce. In the 1881 british census his name is spelled brice - he was married to Jane (Henderson) Bryce. I am given to understand that robert and four of his brothers came to the Sunderland area from Scotland to work in the shipyards, however, the 1881 census says that he was born in Sunderland. He was born in 1855 and his brothers were Thomas, John (jack), Harold and James. Thanks for any help on where to look next.
