Dear Terri - R.B. is Redberry and is my husband, Marion's, greatgrandfather. His grandfather is, Marion, and his father is Frederick Bertram. Redberry was born in 1819 proven by his own statment upon his enlistment in the Confederate Army. I have a great deal of info on this family. If you would like me to send you what info I have, please email me. Redberry died in Jan 1870. His and Sarah's graves went unmarked until 1992 when my husband and I placed markers on their graves in the James Bryars Cemetery in Stockton, Alabama (Baldwin County). Redberry's father was Lazarus John and his mother was Mary. They were married Oct. 4, 1816 in Mobile.I may like to hear what you have, too. Regards, Dianne Bryars p.s. I have Redberry's portrait and also, his son Marion's.
