I am trying to research Alex and Essie Mae Ransom formerly of Holly Ridge, NC for my sons. The Bryants are their paternal grandparents. Alex was born 15 Jan 1915, not sure where he was born, but I was told he was born in Lenore/Lenore Co., NC. His parents may be Bill & Ellen. I do not know for sure. Alex died in July 1974. His siblings are Cleveland, Fairmont, NC, Ernest, Lakeview, SC., Foster, Florida, and Ruby Sweat, Fairmont, NC, b 14 Jun 1909, died Jul 1980. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
