The John Bryant Family

I am a proud descendant of John Bryant (ca. 1760-ca. 1841). I too would like to learn more information regarding his wife, ancestors, siblings, and descendants. Too much erroneous information has been posted regarding the genealogy of my esteemed Bryant ancestral family. Two of my Bryant family cousins have participated in DNA testing. Hopefully they will match other cousins whose genealogy is less formidable to research than my branch of the family. Morgan is a name that is in a branch of my Bryant family. Boone is another interesting name in branches of my Bryant family. At this time, hopefully all serious Bryant family researchers know that a marriage record for my ancestor, John Bryant, is not to be found in Lincoln County, Kentucky. I am more inclined to think that John Bryant married in Virginia before he came to Kentucky. His wife, Elizabeth (ca. 1766-ca. 1854), whose maiden name remains unknown and undocumented, was born in Pennsylvania. John Bryant and Elizabeth Bryant both apparently died in the proximity of Russell Creek, Adair County, Kentucky where their graves are also located in the Bryant Cemetery.

May God bless all members of my Bryant family always.
