Bryan (Bryant)-Ross Connection in NC Early 1800s

I'm looking into Mary Hannah Ross. There is a daughter of John Ross and Temperance Ferrill named Mary Ross b. 16 Aug 1785 in NC. But according to census records, my Mary Hannah Ross was born around 1792 or even later in 1797. Mary (b. 1785) is said to have married a Bryant from Nash Co, NC. Mary's name is also attached to Edward Acree and Jacob Drake Jr. I am connected to the children of Mary Hannah Ross and Jacob Drake married in Knox Co, TN. I'm trying to find records of all Mary's marriages, but I don't know for sure when she was born or who her parents were. It's very possible that there is more than one Mary Ross, which researchers are referring to. I've only found one lead for the marriage between a Bryant and a Ross. For Franklin Co, NC Marriages there is a Andrew Bryan who married Polly Ross on 5 Oct 1810. This is as close as I've gotten in connecting a Bryan (Bryant) man with a Ross woman in NC. Mary's marriage to Jacob Drake was around 1811 in TN, so this date is a little too close, but it could have been a short marriage. If anyone knows about Andrew Bryan's marriage or anything about Bryan (Bryant) and Ross connections in NC, it would be a great help.
