Dear Sandra, I see where your information on AhaS Bryan buried in Collings Cemetery originated. His wife Mary is buried next to him and they have her listed as being from North Carolina. The 1880 Census shows her as being from Maryland and her children also claim her to be from Maryland. As I said before, some one has confused AhaS with A W Bryan whose first wife, Elizabeth, and some of their children are buried in Collings Cemetery. (That statment may not be correct. They have confused the parents of AhaS.) Two brothers, Thomas Bryan,bn. abt 1753, and Allen S Bryan, bn.1772, Sons of Thomas Bryan, both named sons Ahas or Ahaz. A(haz) W(ashington) Bryan is the son of Ahas and Mary Bryan. Allen S Bryan and Elizabeth Hubbards #2 son was Ahaz Bryan, bn. about 1800 and died about 1855. That is all the information I have on him. I started looking on Ancestry.com for him but was did not have any success. I have a family history of the Bales family that I compiled that starts with John Bales 1657 in England. A daughter of Benjamin Allen Bryan and Sarah A Keener, Nancy Catherine Bryan, married Marion Calvin Bales. David W Bryan Notify Administrator about this message?
