I can help you a little bit. I have hit a very tall brick wall on the parents of James Bryan. I do have a lot of information on him which I am willing to share. His wife, Elizabeth is the daughter of John and Mary ? Neely of Orange Co., NC. John's parents are reported to be William and Eleanor? Neeley. William's will was probated in the Caswell County, NC, Court from March thur June 1783. There is a very good family history book entitled, "Neeley Names" by Eloyce Hubbard Kockler, that gives a lot of good information about Elizabeth's family.

I am looking for a way over my brick wall on James and would be happy to correspond with you.
Charlotte
