You are correct that we are on the same page. The only change I would make in your information is that I list it as in 1851 David Bruton died in Kansas Territory (now Colorado). I never have been able to find out where in Colorado David died.

Which side of the family are you researching? I use the "shotgun" method, I just research anyone that I find. :^)
