Where do your Brusha families originate? My husband's mother's family is from Santa Cristina Gela in Sicily, up the road into the mountains from Palermo. Their family name in Sicily is Bruscia but was changed when Oscar and Michael Brusha came to the US in 1903 through Ellis Island. Does anyone have a connection?
