Found this in my Brunton files, but haven't been able to connect them up to my branch, who were from Beaver Co., PA. My ggg-grandfather (earliest anc.), William Brunton b. 1772 PA, d. 1845 Beaver Co., PA; m. Barbara Alspaugh b. 1781 Germany, d. Sept. 20, 1853 Beaver Co. [Dau. of Henry Alspaugh/Alspach & Elizabeth ______.]

This info may not have anything to do with your clan, but found generation 3 Nathan E. Brunton who m. Ida Petree interesting! Hope this helps. When I have more time, I'll check out my WFT files for you.
