I was hoping for more information on this line...either parents, grandparents,etc, or grandchildren of:
Walter Brunton born c. 1838 in Scotland. Married Mary Monro born c. 1841. They were married 25 June 1858 at Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.
Found them in the 1880 Census of South Hickory Township of Mercer Co., PA. and then in IGI records in Scotland.
They had 9 children, some bn in Scotland, some in Pennslyvania.
Children were:
John Alexander Brunton, b. 23 April 1859
Walter Brunton, b. 15 July 1861
Charles Brunton, b. 8 July 1863
George Brunton, b. 16 June 1865
Alexander Brunton, b. 27 November 1867
Mary A. Brunton, born c. 1870
Catherine Brunton, born c. 1873 (first born in US)
Susan Brunton, born c. 1877
Elizabeth Brunton, born c. June 1879 (my great-grandmother)
