Searching the family of Adam C. Brunton, born 3 Oct 1813 in Midlothion, Edinburgh, Scotland. Died 25 Apr in Chicago, IL. Married 7 Dec 1866 in Monifieth, Forfar County, Scotland to Jane Wilson Williamson. Parents are probably John Brunton and Elizabeth Smith (married 1796 in Scotland). Adam's children are: Kathryn Jane (b. 28 Aug 1873 in Glasgow, Scotland) who married Robert Lincoln Baird on 21 Nov 1893), Adam Brunton, William Maxwell Brunton (b. 9 May 1871 in Govan, Lanark, Scotland)
