hi rex, it's always good to hear from a newly-found cousin. :)i've looked through my records and i'm sorry but i can't find anything about john henry walker's first wife or any of his children. i'll keep looking and see if i can find anything about them.
i've only got the welch family traced back to my great grandfather robert benjamin welch 1860-1931. do you have any information on his parents? i have olive hill welch's parents as hyram hill born in 1845 who was married to catherine h. weaver. do you know anything more about them?
i used to go to that family reunion when i was a teenager so i know all the family members who went to it. little rea passed away a few years ago, roy and dorothy still live in mobile as far as i know, and emma jean and patsy live in central florida. little rea's granddaughter susan wolf is a missionary in africa, i get updates from her every so often. i've also recently been in touch with nat and roy hargrove, roy is a soldier who was stationed in kuwait but he's back home now. i haven't seen aunt myrtis in about twenty years or so. my grandmother cassie used to make dolls and aunt myrtis sold them in her store. i don't think i've seen any of the andersons at all since my grandmother's funeral. i have several cousins in atmore, jeff, david, and kristen anderson, whom i haven't seen since we were kids, and andy anderson (son of foster) whom i've never met.
great to be in touch with you!
