Looking for the descendants of Leonard E. Brunson who was born ca. 1795 in Sumter SC. Believe he was the son of Peter E. and Winnie (Nettles) Brunson. Is this correct? According to the 1840 Census he was living in Clarke Co, AL. In 1848, he and "Sarah" were received by letter at Salem Baptist Church in ALamucha Lauderdale Co, MS. Was Sarah his wife? In 1850 Census, Sumter Co, AL only shows Leonard E. Brunson and children but no wife. When and where did he died? Was there a Family Bible?
