Dear Nicola,
Despite my name of 'Brons', my forebears were also called 'Bruns'. However, I think that it is unlikely that your Brunses are related to ours (ours all went to London from Germany.
Nevertheless, I have noticed some Liverpool Brunses on the Free BMD web-site. They are: Sophie Brunsmarried Sept Quarter 1871;Rebecka Bruns married December Quarter 1854; Henry Bruns marriedMarch Quarter 1871; Henry Bruns born December Quarter 1898; and Johanna Bruns born June Quarter 1893.
