My father Otis John Brunner age 87, just passed away November 7, 2007. Life long resident of Carthage Jasper Co. Missouri. And now I get the rest of the story.
In April 1942, he joined the US Coast Guard & had his training in Owensboro, KY till November 1, 1942.
While stationed there in Boot Camp.....he fathered a son.
I think illegitimate, but who knows. Maybe he was married to this boys mother. My half brother would be about 64 or 65 years old.
Please if you know any info on this Brunner saga, please reply.
