I'll apologize now. You're SUBJECT looked like a wild card fold out for something from Compuserve or AOL autoreadings.

As far as clan, my Brunner line comes form Switzerland. My GGGrandfather was John A. Brunner. He was born in Switzerland in 1860. He Naturalized in 1880. Lien goes from John to William E. to William O. to Wilber E. and then to me, and my brother.

I don't know much about where John was born or if John was his original name. He may have "Americanized" it when he came over. The clan is from teh Louisville, Ky. area.

Any help for you??

Doug B.
