i am descended from john h. bruner (abt 1820-1862) who married cynthia ann avery in louisville, ky in 1846 and were listed in the 1860 harrison county, in u.s. census. john died in the civil war at bardstown, ky of disease and cynthia and here children moved to effingham county, il for a while. cynthia and her daughter, mary jane bruner wise montgomery returned to harrison county, in where mary jane montgomery died in 1884. her mother, cynthia ann bruner died at palmyra in 1888. any connection?
