I have no Zumbrunnen information, but in November
I visited Switzerland for ten days. While there
I went to the Zivilsstandsamt office in
Zweisimmen, where I found plenty of my Zeller
ancestors going back as far as my
great-great-great-great-great Grandfather
Johannes Zeller, born in 1747 in Zweisimmen.
The personnel in the office were very helpful and
I found that they have records going back as far
as the mid-1700's. There are even earlier church
records in the Staatsarchiv Bern. Let me know if
all this is helpful to you, or if I can get any
other general information to you.
