I'm trying to locate the parents/ancestors of David Nathaniel Bruner, b. abt 1831 in Indiana or Kentucky. He served in the Civil War with volunteers from Indiana. He died in a military hospital in Louisville Kentucky with Pnemonia shortly after entering the war. His wife, Matilda (Defendoll) Bruner received a pension for this service. He was listed in the 1860 US Census for Vermillion Co., Indiana. His widow never re-married and eventualy relocated to Miami Co., Kansas.
