Gertie,
I saw your message about the German Bruners and wondered if you also had any info on the Swiss group also. My US line goes back to Ulrich Bruner (1722-1799). He came here from Switzerland and I have been able to take the line back, still in Switzerland, to 1527 with his 4th great-grandfather , also named Ulrich Brunner of Basserstorf, Zurich, Switzerland. That information was provided to me by Earl Bruner, but I have since lost his e-mail address and have not been able to get in touch with him for his sources of the Swiss info. Were the Swiss Brunners related to the German Bruners, as I'm sure they probably were and how so? Do you have any info as to the lives these people led ? I would be happy to exchange info.
Shelia
