As I said, I descend from -MATHIEU BRUNET DIT LESTANG ET MARIE BLANCHARD. My gg-grandfather was Joseph Brunais, born Apr 30, 1835, moved to Massachusetts and then New York where he married Emma Julia Roberge. He served in the Civil War and later moved to Iowa. His daughter, Melvina Azilda, was my great-grandmother who married Elmer Ellsworth Brooks; their daughter Frances was my grandmother. She married George Binger in Iowa. Their son, Forrest Binger is my father. I don't know how much more information you would like.
Thanks for responding. I only know a little French (un peu). I can understand what you write, but I'm afraid you would laugh at my attempts to describe my genealogy in French.
