I too, am looking for this John Brunette.
In addition of the info you provided I can add that M. Leah Lacross (Lacroix in French)
was born on May 1,1883 in Alpena and died on Nov.20,1966.
I have not ran across a Joseph Brunet / Mary
Cartier as husband and wife but this could be a good leed.
Although I have collected data on over 7,000 Brunet families, this one is still unsolved.
Please keep in touch so we can collaborate on this evasive one.
