Records (Drouin's Répertoire alphabétique des mariages des Canadiens-français) indicate that Jeanne Bruneau m. Francois Duclos (Francois + Marie Dibouret) 21 Oct. 1697 at Notre-Dame de Québec. Her parents are shown as being Jean Bruneau and Anne Pointeau. However, I cannot find any reference to them (her parents) or their marriage in any of the dictionaries, which is kind of unusual. Considering the early date of their marriage (1697), one might speculate that she came from France alone. However, she is not listed as a `Kings daughter'. Someone else on this forum may be able to shed additional light on this.
