I found this person at www.familysearch.org and it appears the father was Leo and the mother was Sophie Akin.

Leo was born in 1840 in Odessa, Russa and died there in 1870; Sophie was born about 1863 in Russia but there is no death info recorded for her that I could find. I would suggest also looking under Brunn and also looking at different first name spellings, as I did find several names listed there with spelling variations that might fit.

Try also looking at www.castlegarden.org for early immigration info, if they first arrived in the US thru NY state. If not, try locating an online source for immigration to San Francisco, CA and other western ports, and also try www.ITSG.org which is the Immigrant Ships Transcriber's Guild site.

Good luck,
Bookratt
