Looking for related branches of the family. We know the Brun brothers who came to America used the last name Brunn. Giovanni was known as John; Giuseppe as Joseph, and Angelo probably kept his name. They were Italian Presbyterians/Protestants here in the USA. We know Joseph became a well-known Protestant minister at The Broome Street Tabernacle in Little Italy, in NYC. John went to Ridgway, PA and to Curwensville, PA, as a miner/laborer then possibly ended up in Hazleton, PA near the end of his life. We do not know his death date or location. We believe it was prior to 1960, most likely sometime in the late 40s or 50s. We believe Giovanni/John was married to a Domenica Bucco of Frisanco/Udine, Italy. We know their children were Silvio, Luigi and Cristina/Maria Cristina. We do not know the death date or location for Domenica, either. Luigi Brun became Louis Brunn, married Maria Roselli (Mary Russell) and had the following children: Edith, Christine, John, Marie, Silvia and Ruth. Ruth died at age 34 and Marie died at age 3, in Hazleton, PA. Luigi Brun/Louis Brunn died in 1941. We do not know what happened to Angelo. There may be connections between the Brun/n family and the Bucco, Lorenzon and Colucci families, both here and in Italy. Many of the Bucco and Brun familiy had relatives (sisters, cousins) who went to Philadelphia, PA instead of to NYC or to Hazleton, PA. The Colucci family went to Philadelphia and NY.
