Is there a possibility that James II and wife Elizabeth are the parents of Watson Brumfield, b.ca 1720, probably Goochland County, VA? He resided 1749-52 Cumberland Co, 1752-54 Amelia County, 1754-59 Prince Edward Co.
1759-69 Orange County, NC, 1769-72 Johnson County, NC, then 1772-90 York Co., SC Camden District.

Watson is my ancestor and we are unsure of his parents.
