Therese, I would really like to have Mary Herod's siblings and parents to complete this line of the family. There is a Herod Drug at Canton, OK which is 20 miles from Seiling. I really think it is part of this family. Thanks for the info on B. F. Wright. I thought he had gone west...WRONG. Do you have his obituary? I would like to have any more info you have on him and Mabel and their family. I'm not sure but I think Mabel's husband may be buried in the Brumfield Cemetery here in Seiling, OK also. Do you have his name and date of death? Do you want me to mail you documents, etc. on these families? If so email me and give me your address. I can get copies of the marriage licenses, obits, etc. Laura, Stella, and Nellie Brumfield are buried side by side. George, Mary, Musetta, and Maggie are buried in another part. I'm showing that B. F. Wright and Laura had 4 children; Violet, George, Myrtle, and Paul. Paul was born in 1906 and Laura died 12-08-1906. Her obit says she had been sick since Dec. 2. She lived a faithful christian life and was a member of the Jesus Christ of LDS church for the past 5 years. She had 2 girls and 2 boys. She died Dec. 8 at 4 PM. What child of B. F. Wright's does your husband descend from? Glad to help you in any way and I'll share all info I have. This family was a big part of Seiling, Oklahoma in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
