Brumfield. I have a copy of the will of Charles Brumfield, written in about 1815 and probated at his death in 1826 in York District, South Carolina. Charles and Lucy had a son named Issac, brother to my ggg grandfather, John Brumfield, who was married to Margaret (Peggy) Kelly. Issac apparently had a daughter, Caroline, to whom he left some money in his will. I concluded from the reading of the will that Issac, who had moved to Louisiana, had died by the time of Charles' death. As I recall he left Caroline about $600. I got the will from the York County Historical Society, York County, SC, near my home in Spartanburg,SC, about 2 years ago. I hope this is helpful! Notify Administrator about this message?
