Looking for information on John Brumfield who appears on the 1850 Sangamon Co., IL census with wife, Mahala, B: TN, daughter, Arabella, B: TN abt. 1833, son, Woodson, B: IL abt. 1842, son, Timothy, B: IL abt. 1843. It appears that Mahala is 8 to 10 yrs. older than her husband. They reappear in Texas on the 1860 Buchanan Co., Tx census living next door to Arabella (now a LEE)and her children. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
