Brumfield, Elizabeth born 1806 Va.,
(Cabell Co.,WV ?) widow of James Brumfield who owned property in Larwrence Co.,Ky. and died there before 1840. Elizabeth widow of James marries
Samuel Haney b. 1815 Ky. and they remove to Wabash Co.,Illinois in 1843.
Samuel goes back and sells dowery land
set aside for Elizabeth as widow of James in Lawrence Co.,Ky. in early 1840's. Deed states that Elizabeth widow of James Brumfield and that she intermarried with Samuel Haaney. Can't be sure where
marriage took place but my gt.gt. grandmother Mary Ann Haney was born in Lawrence Co.,Ky in 1840. Family disappears from Wabash Co.,Illiinois after
1860 census? There were some Rice families as well as Brumfield families in the Wabash Co.,Illinois census. Not sure who Samuel's father was and also parents of
Elizabeth. Would appreciate help.Lori

out.
