Please refer to my message # 396 on this Brumfield Forum...

I have Solomon as eldest son of Thomas Brumfield...Thomas's dtr, Martha Brumfield b. 1725 Berks Co.,Pa married William Ball by 1742 (bd of oldest son John Ball 2 Oct 1742) Thomas Brumfield in his will written 5 April 1774.,probated 28 Aug 1783...Berks co.,record Bk.B,pg 59. includes statement.,"my will is that my son Solomon shall pay and lay out the necessaries for my dau Martha Ball yearly what her necissity should be during her natural life.....note: Martha must have been widowed before 1774 and was probably living in area...
..I have copy of Thomas's will, but have not transcribed it yet...
