(continuation to message of 8/24/98) As no other Broomfields arrived in the area until 1860 (David January and Nelson) it appears that those in the area prior to that time are Obediah's family. (Note - do not be confused by the spelling variation of the name - these individuals all used both spellings interchangeably but in the context of the time and place involved used the above spellings.) I would like to know more about your line.
