Myra is located on the Mud River in Lincoln County near Hamlin. It is the birthplace of Chuck Yeager--the first man to break the sound barrier. I'm from Harts in southern Lincoln County and a descendant of Paris Brumfield, s/o John H. I've got a lot on your family, but not handy right now to give you anything. Anyway, thought I'd pass it along about Myra. There's an old boarding house there now, and and old post office/store. I've got pictures.
