Possible there is a connection to Sneads also from Richmond Co, NC > Forsyth County, GA > Cherokee County, AL > then Arkansas. A Samuel S. Snead (along with Philip, Absalom, Dianah, and "unknown" brother Snead) moved from Richmond County, NC to Forsyth Co., GA in late 1830's. Samuel was still in Forsyth Co. in 1845 when the others had moved to Fayette Co., GA. Two Snead women, Letty and Nancy, married Isaac and Joel Brumbelow respectively in 1842. Samual and Philip later moved to Cherokee Co.,AL where they were living next door to Isaac and Joseph Brumalow in 1866. Philip Snead moved to Craighead Co., Ark between 1866 & 1870, child named Brumbelow living with him in 1870. I am very interested in finding any information connecting these Brumalow's and Snead's, especially the connection to Samuel S. Snead.
