I'm still trying to find the parents of A. L. Brumbelow (who married Alice B. Pace in Grimes Co., TX in 1874). I decided to check the Civil War units because I'm interested in A. J. Brumbelow who was 35 when the 1860 Union Co., AR census was taken. He had sons, Alfred (10) and William (11) - and others - and there was also a William Brumbelow who married in Grimes Co., TX. A. L. Brumbelow was 30 when the 1880 Navarro Co., TX census was taken, and he was born AR. I can't find A. J. Brumbelow in 1870, so I thought he might have died in the Civil War.
