My husband's grandfather was John Henry Bruhn, although we thought until 3-4 mos ago it was just Henry Bruhn. He was from the same area and I think went to Iowa from the same area in Germany. We know very little about him. He is buried at Elkhorn, NE which I am sure you have seen the cemetary since you are from Omaha. Any info I can supply or you can give me I would appreciate it.
