I am a member of the Bruhn family which originated in Rydbjerg. My great grandfather, Frederick George Bruhn was born there and came to this country to settle in Iowa where my grandmother Ellen was born of his second marriage. The family moved to Enumclaw, Washington where my father, Rolf Bruhn Hansen was born. I was just reading some family history with my daughter a couple of weeks ago and trying to figure out where Rydbjerg was. You have a ton of cousins in the Seattle area. I will contact some aunts who have been to Denmark to get more information if you still need it.
