Dear Robin! How nice! When you visited Schlichting in 1993, you must have seen the farmhouse of my grandparents (Wilhelm and Emma Bruhn, died 1991), at that time belonging to my father (Willi Peter Bruhn). It's left to the church, in view from the "main" road. I have got a book with sagas from Dithmarschen and will look up if there is a hint to the name of Schlichting. Till then, regards, Katja
