In OHIO SAMPLERS - SCHOOLGIRL EMBROIDERIES 1803-1850 by Sue Studebaker, there is a picture & information on a sampler done by Eliza Ann BRUEN in 1828. She was the dau of Luther & Susan (BARNETT) BRUEN. I think the book is still available from the Warren Co (OH) Historical Society.
