Now this is interesting.

I have been researching CSA Col John Singleton Mosby for years. He married Pauline Clark who was a Catholic from Kentucky. It is my belief he was part of the Randolph Family of Virginia. The Southern Historical Society wants to say all the Randolphs who are in the book The Randolphs of Virginia are from Jules Randolph who married King Robert Bruce's daughter.

Maybe true and maybe not but one thing for sure, there are Bruce family members living in Western PA connected to General Arthur St Clair, Col John Gibson the Commander of Ft Pitt in Pittsburgh and Union General Lew Wallace.

Both General Lew Wallace and General St Clair are connected by General St Clair's DAR service record.

It seems to be several possibilities. These families changed their names to Bruce, Wallace, Gibson and St Clair to claim vast lands in America via Charles I of England or they are the Real McCoys.
