Seeking information on the family of James Bruce who leased a farm consisting of 73 acres in the Town of Watervliet, N.Y. in 1801 from the VanRensselaer family. Bruce released the farm lease to David Comstock in January 1853, so it appears the family resided in the Town of Watervliet (Albany Co.) for about a half century.
