Thanks Sam for the information on the Broyles Book. My James Washington Wilcox married three times. Once to Ruth Jane Ruble, 2. Margaret Patten, and 3. to Mary E. Gray. James and Margaret had 5 children. Rachel Annette WIlcox, Susan Lettcia Wilcox, Edward Wilcox, James Washington Wilcox, Jr. who married Lucy Webb, and Phoebe Edmonia Wilcox who married William Jack Johnson (my great grandparent's).The James Washington Wilcox who married a Moreland is a different James from mine. That couple are the ancestors of my cousin Richard Wilcox who has a web page featuring his family. My Wilcox/Patton family are listed on page 216 and 217 of "The Tilson Genealogy" by Mercer V. Tilson, and can be seen on line. A couple of years ago I got a chance to visit East Tennessee, Greene County. I saw the town of Broylesville and all the many Broyles graves that dotted the land. I am interested in reading Keith's book. Thanks for the information
