Margaret Patton b. 19 Nov 1823 Washington Co., TN - this dob is from the A.L. Keith mss, The Broyles Family 1942. Keith does not cite a source for this birthdate but he spent a good deal of time in East Tennessee reviewing official and family records to gather his data. Copies of Keith's work are available from various vendors and in certain libraries - ask your local librarian for help in finding locations and availabilities or google away. The Library of Congress also has a book combining Keith's research gens 1-5 with Pucketts 6-10 research. Below is the block of text from the mss referring to this particular family and below that is the data resulting from my own research.
SUSAN BROYLES (180) [daughter of Daniel Broyles (37)] (b. July 11, 1796;d. Apr 8, 1874) She married John Patton (b. May 13, 1794;d. Feb 17, 1828) in Washington Co., TN on Aug 31, 1815, Daniel Broyles signing the marriage bond. They resided in Washington Co., TN.
