Seeking information about Lucy, wife of George Whitten Broyles (1813-1889). According to census information she was born about 1814 in NC. They probably met and married in Jackson Co., AL in the 1830s, then moved to Limestone Co., AL in the 1840s where they spent the rest of their lives. Ailsey Catherine Gilliland, possibly a relative, was in their household in 1840 (age 5-10) and 1850 (age 18), and next door as wife of Ausburn Harwell in 1870.
