I am looking for infromation on Nathan Brownson from Midway/Newport area of Liberty County Ga. He served as Govenor of Georgia 1781 and died 1796. He is mentioned in the will of his wife Elizabeth Donnom widow of John Martin. The records of Midway congregation list the death of Elizabeth in 1775 and then the birth of a son Nathan to Elizabeth and Nathan Brownson in 1777. Who did Nathan marry after the death of Elizabeth Donnom?
